Happy Thursday, May 3. Today is my mom’s birthday! We’ll be celebrating with stuffed mushrooms, her favorite pasta(tomatoes and basil are marinating as we speak), yummy bread, a fresh salad and wine.

Oh and this Strawberry Preserve/Fresh Strawberry Coffee Cake. It rose just nicely. More photos of the complete cake to come.
