Hi all. Hope you’re having a fabulous Thursday! We’re launching a redesign of our website at work today so it’s a little hectic.
So, last Friday, the boy and I decided to try out a new Gilbert hotspot, Postino’s Winecafe. There are a few other locations spread across the Valley, but this one was pretty close to us and housed in a building that unfortunately has been unlucky with business thus far.
But, I’m pretty sure Postino has turned that around. I loved the place, and it was only a 45-minute wait. We made it at the end of happy hour, just in time to snag a $5 pitcher of Four Peaks Kiltlifter.
Check out this cheeseball.
We settled for the cheese board and bruschetta, and I got a little cup of the tomato and smoked gouda soup! Oh.M.Gee. It was so great! And was perfectly filling.
I love me some sharp cheese, so I dug right into it. Blue cheese is not really my thing, but I made it work. And I enjoy some creamy brie too so this plate turned out perfect. The jam was a peachy one and I made the most delicious bites using everything on the plate.
** Please ignore my unpolished nails.
This was such a perfectley peared bite! This is the whole reason why I started this blog. I love to share flavors that go well together. Yes, I’m that person who mixes everything and anything possible together. And, it comes out great. Promise.
My soup was so adorable!
And the bruschetta - the bacon covered one was ALL the boy.
Have a great night!
